To: 

• Evaluate memory impairments including the diagnosis of dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

• Provide second opinions.

• Assess and manage behavioral problems or psychiatric problems that often accompany memory disorders.

• Provide resources, referrals, treatment and management plans.

• Support community physicians in the care of patients with dementia.

• Conduct clinical research on treatment of dementias.

• Provide academic and community education to raise the standards of care of dementia patients in our community.
